Diamond Core Drills

Technodiamant offers a full range of metalbond diamond core drills with OD in  from .57mm diameter up to 170mm.  Details on our "micro" core drills follows, but if you have a need for larger diameter drills please send us your inquiry and we will offer.   These metalbond diamond core drills are particularly suited for drilling glass, silicon and ceramic materials. It is strongly recommended that coolant be used through the center of the drill, ideally 100-200PSI is most effective. It is sometimes possible to flood cool if cutting small quantities, but this does not effectively remove swarf and does not cool as well, so it hastens tool wear.  We tailor grit size, concentration, and binder type for your application.   We offer the highest quality, consistent core drills available and have many satisfied customers.

When ordering, we need to know: ID or OD size, tolerance, drill tube length, and adapter type

  • Standard length is 2-1/2"; different lengths are available
  • Standard tolerance is +/- 0.001"; +/- 0.0005" or +/- 0.00025" available for additional cost
  • Can be Mounted to Branson, Belgian , or other adapters
    Slots and Counterbores also available

  • Larger sizes available up to 170mm OD 

    Drills can be mounted on following adapters:
    5/8"-18 female, 3/8"-24 female, Branson, Belgian, 1"-14, or straight adapter (i.e. 1/4" diameter X 1" long or 3/8" X 1" long)
